Sheds and open side barns (open 1, 2 or all sides) will have V braces on the open side.
A shed or open side barn usually has the posts on 10' centers. If you need an oversized bay for a specific piece of machinery we can generally do it at no extra charge. If you need all of them oversized we need to talk about it to make sure we don't jeopardize the strength of the building.
We offer Dutch Doors or Horse Windows with contrasting trim available. (The pulley system was added by the customer).
We also offer horse corrals featuring:
- Galvanized steel manufactured.
- All welded construction.
- Sliding Doors, Single or Dutch Doors.
- Dual-handle is standard.
Fastening systems include your choice of neoprene washer ring shank nails or neoprene washer screws. Both will be fastened in the metal ridges. There is an up charge for screws.
Shown at right is an assortment of sliding doors. But we also offer 2 walk-in doors:
The Style 66 is a steel skin foam core with piano hinges or step up to the Style 94 with 24 gauge steel skin and 3 heavy duty fixed pin hinges.
A Cupola with weather vane is decorative and functional. It serves as a vent to minimize condensation.
Choose from double-pane windows with a grid or single-pane windows without a grid.
Wainscotting is available in a contrasting color. Available only with an overhead frame out. There is an up charge for Wainscotting.
Low profile ridge vents are also available to help cool your barn.
For extra ventilation we can install an exhaust fan or ridge vents (not shown). The fan louvers are gravity controlled and drop when you cut power. (Electric hook-up not included).
Sheds on one or both sides of the barn are great for feeding stock.
Our basic fiberglass skylights are tough but we also offer these Suntuf Skylights for a nominal upcharge. The Suntuf Skylights carry a 5-year limited warranty to protect you from hail damage up to 1" in diameter.
One foot overhangs and gutters are available for an extra charge.
Our sliding doors normally hang "free." Some customers prefer a guide at the bottom. Be sure to tell us. They can be provided for a nominal charge.
Plastisleeve to fully encase your CCA treated post. They can provided for a nominal up charge.
