BCI Barn Builders offers post frame buildings in free span widths from 22’ to 60’ and unlimited lengths. All types of buildings we sell are available installed or as a do it yourself kit. Pre-built engineered trusses are standard with a 3/12 pitch but the 4/12 is available at extra cost.

Tip: Keep in mind you will need to clear and level 10’ past the size of your building. For example, a 30x50 requires a 40x60 level area.

Wall Height
Tip: Consider the height of the tallest piece of equipment you want to store in this barn. If your barn will house an RV or vehicle, make sure you measure your vehicle from the ground to the tallest point, whether that is the top of an air conditioning unit or an exhaust pipe.
Door Types
Tip: Consider the number and positioning of the doors if you want to be able to drive through your building or just back in and out. Please note that we cannot do an opening larger than 12' on the eave side of the building without special headers. *Please discuss with your representative*
Sliders
Tip: Clearance on a slider will be 1’ less than the height of the building (to bare ground). If you are pouring a slab after the building is up, you will lose the thickness of the slab in clearance. Doors over 12' wide cannot be placed on sidewall. Please visit with sales about special headers.

Walk Door (5 Series)
Tip: The series of walk door you need depends on the amount of use it will receive. The base level door is the series 66 with an aluminum nailing flange. The series 20 is the top of the line, 1.75” thick, 26 gauge steel skin & 16 gauge steel jamb. Both series 20 doors are available in colors for an additional fee. White is the standard color for all walk doors.

Frame Out
Tip: Clearance on a frame out is 2’ less than the height of the building. A 10’ building will only accommodate an 8’ tall frame out as this will allow for the garage door hardware. Be sure to check with your garage door installer for specific requirements. Doors over 12' wide cannot be placed on sidewall. Please visit with sales about special headers. Tip: If you are in a secluded area, windows are a good way to get light and a breeze into your building. If your buildings are very open to the public, windows may not be the most secure thing.
